Your AWI watch is warranted by its manufacturer “AWI GROUP” CJSC for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of the warranty. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects.

During the warranty period, by presenting the valid (properly filled and signed / stamped) warranty certificate of the watch to the point of purchase, you have the right to get a warranty servicing free of charge.

The warranty does not cover:

  • any malfunction caused by incorrect use of the watch or non-observance of the “Use and Care Instructions”;
  • normal wear and aging (e.g. glass scratches, alteration of the appearance and colour of straps and bracelets, peeling of the coating, etc.);
  • the life of the battery;
  • the watch handled (any service, repair or maintenance operation, including battery replacement) by third-party persons (not service specialists of “AWI GROUP” CJSC and its distributors and dealers), or which has been altered beyond the manufacturer’s control
Use and Care Instructions

SELF-WINDING MODELS
Self-winding (automatic) movements harness energy through the natural motion of the wearer’s wrist.
If the watch has not been worn for some period of time and its power reserve has thus run low, we recommend winding the watch manually by giving the crown 20 to 30 full rotations towards the “12” hour position.
Do not deliberately shake a self-winding watch in order to wind it. This is ineffective and could damage the movement.

QUARTZ MODELS
Quartz watches are battery-operated. We recommend not leaving a completely discharged battery in the watch for a long time, as this can result in leakage of chemicals which will damage the movement.
To ensure work in line with our quality standards, as well as to keep up with the terms of the warranty, it is important to have the battery replaced by a service specialist of “AWI GROUP” CJSC or its distributor / dealer.

SETTING THE DATE
Avoid manually changing the date between 9 PM and 3 AM. This is when the date automatically changes. Manual operation during these hours risks damaging the mechanism.

WATER
Even if your watch is water resistant, to avoid water penetration which could damage the movement, always check that the crown is pushed in (and screwed in on models with screw-in crowns) the case of your watch. Also, it is imperative not to use pushers (on chronograph models) when the watch is in contact with water.

TEMPERATURE
Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures of above 45°C (113°F) or below -5°C (23°F). Also avoid sudden changes in temperature (e.g. in sauna).

CHEMICALS, COSMETICS
Avoid contact with solvents, detergents, fragrances or cosmetics as they are likely to affect the coating on the case or bracelet, as well as damaging the gaskets that ensure the water-resistance of the watch.

MAGNETIC FIELDS
Magnetic fields may temporarily disrupt the functioning of the watch movement, or even totally stop it. We therefore strongly recommend keeping your watch away from objects and devices emitting magnetic fields (e.g. magnet, loudspeaker, refrigerator, etc.).
